Our GSBR End-Of-Season recaps continue with the Cape Atlantic League.

Season In Review

The CAL American Division was as competitive as it could possibly be this year, with four teams going over 20 wins in Middle Twp, Saint Joseph's of Hammonton, Ocean City and Wildwood Catholic. Middle, powered by Rider commit Jamir McNeil, was in or around the GSBR Top 25 for much of the season, Ocean City graduated all five starters last year and as a "rebuilding year" ended up a sectional finalist behind the play of senior Ben McGonigle and junior Luke Tjoumakaris; Both St Joes and Wildwood were in the GSBR Non Public B Rankings. While they did not get to the 20 win mark, 17-13 Saint Augustine won the CAL Tournament. It couldn't be much better.

Elswhere in the CAL, Atlantic City, fueled by multisport athlete Khajuan Roseborough, returned to their winning ways with a 20-7 season behind a guard heavy lineup; 6'5" senior Jamaal Davis led Absegami finished 24-5 and Holy Spirit was competitive at 18-10.
