Northern Highlands took the long trek from Allendale to play Red Bank Catholic just 24 hours after giving Ramapo, a ReportIt Top 25 team, a battle to the finsh and gave the Caseys all they could handle before the home side pulled away for a 60-53 victory.

The first quarter started out slowly as both teams were cold from the field to start the contest. Both teams were heavily reliant on taking three pointers and struggled to find their groove early on. Northern Highlands led 7-6 after the first.
The second quarter belonged to 5'10" Northern Highlands junior guard Lucas Dipasupil, who took over. Hitting 4 three point shots in the second, Dipasupil finished the first half with 15 points and Northern Highlands jumped out to a 27-19 halftime lead.
TIn the third, RBC found their big man, 6’6" Delaware football commit Tyler Burnham, who scored the first two baskets out of the gate and finished with 9 points inside the paint. RBC stepped up the intensity defensively and effectively denied opportunities for Dipasupil. RBC clawed back to take a 39-38 lead after three.
RBC got started in the fourth with Wilkes bound senior Colin Cavanaugh hitting two a pair deep threes . Red Bank Catholic took a 47-40 lead and never looked back. Dipasupil did hit a pair of threes of his own, however 6'4" junior wing Ryan Prior made 7 out of 8 free throws down the stretch and Pasquale Sabino ended the game with a thunderous dunk to cap a 60-53 RBC win.
Case Agency Player Of The Game
Lucas Dipasupil, Northern Highlands
Rare to select a POTG from a losing team, but Dipasupil threw everything in his offensive arsenal at the Caseys to give his team a chance to win the game on a short turnaround. Only a junior, he could be one of the top public school players in the Big North the next two years. He finished with a game high 30 and averages 18ppg on the season thusfar.
