Teams continue to tip off their season on opening weekend with several feature matchups on the books for today.

Oratory Prep vs Cranford 11:30AM

JD Core Training North Jersey Game Of The Day

Oratory scrapped to an opening night win against crosstown rival Summit as Asher Bradley and John Prione had 20 apiece, while Cranford picked apart Scotch Plains behind a Nick Amitie double-double, with the 6'6" senior going for 22&13. Great match up of Oratory guards vs a tough Cranford frontcourt player who could push for All Union County honors.

#5 Saint Rose vs Brooklyn South Shore 6PM

The Purple Roses begin the season with the highest expectations at the Belmar school since Bob Verga played there decades ago, led by a player who could be in the conversation with Verga as the best to ever grace the gym in Matt Hodge, a Villanova commit. This is an excellent test to start the season against a quality opponent from New York City that has already faced some good teams, including Archbishop Wood of the Philadelphia Catholic League.

Other Games To Watch:

Delbarton vs Hillsborough, 12PM at Watchung Hills

Morris Catholic vs DePaul, 12 PM

Manasquan vs RBR, 1PM

Immaculata vs Delaware Valley, 1PM

#14 Rutgers Prep vs Paramus Catholic, 2PM

#16 Elizabeth vs Saddle River Day, 6:30 PM at Essex County College
